Of music & thunder

So this is the first time I'm blogging through my iPod, on the bed, with my earphones on, blasting Taylor Swift's Red album, because I think you know what the thunder does to me. Sigh. I was having fun sleeping, and the sky decided to wake me up.

The weather and the air-conditioner is making me crave for a cup of hot chocolate with extra marshmallows.

Anyway, I had a productive Saturday. I drove to my parents' office in KL, and had lunch with them. I then went to KLCC to meet up with some friends. I was there about 2 hours early I guess, so I hanged at Kinokuniya.

That was until Gwen and Billy called. So I watched these two, husband & wife, enjoy their meatball pasta in Chinoz On The Park, while arguing. They do that all the time, so I'm not surprised. Round 2 was on Billy, since he chose Mint ice-cream, at The Cream Fudge & Factory.

Xiao Ran and Sam, the queen and king, then arrived. Round 3 was fresh juice from Boost. Oh, we visited the art gallery then! Only because GWEN wanted to. Well we were walking around aimlessly and walked to the front entrance of the art gallery and so she said to go in and look around. After that, I craved for the bottomless nachos in Chillies.

Yes, we did go there. We made reservation for 5, and stood there for almost 20 minutes, and left after....'cause eating at Chillies is too mainstream. KLAHITSNOT.ISTILLWANTMYNACHOS. *cries a thousand years

P.S. : Xiao & Sam, Billy & Gwen, if you guys are reading this, I swear I'd bring a self-claim boyfriend/husband/pole/someonetoleanon the next time we meet. So I don't have to hug the huge wall, which Sam asked me to. T____T

You're my Achilles heel

I have so many posts which I saved under drafts. I'll post it soon, when I'm done, I guess.

Anyway, in case you haven't noticed, its October. Its a brand new month, and I finally changed my desktop wallpaper, after more than half a year! It used to be Wang Lee Hom, now its a picture of my closest friends.

If any of you, from the picture, sees this, well.....HELLO

Well, because I have been saying "OHMAGAWD" so much lately, Jun Ming cannot stop imitating and annoy me. He'll be like, "OHMERGERD JIA-YI WANTS PAPER",  "OHMERGERD JIA-YI IS DRINKING WATER",  "OHMERGERD JIA-YI IS HUNGRY". Right now, every single time I say it, Jun Ming's "OHMERGERD" rings in my ear. I need to kill Jun Ming.

Oh and, I watched Episode 2, Season 6 of Gossip Girl recently, and I still want Serena and Nate to get back together. Its just that, Nate is so handsome, I think its illegal to look thaaaat good and Serena is like, the hottest Manhattan's elite. They both look really good together. In fact, I dreamt of Nate and Serena being back together, the night after watching the episode. Freaky, no? And yes, Chuck and Blair got back together, and is getting married soon, so...SERENATE!

"and in that moment, I swear we were infinite."

Para-paradise

I was looking at the photos from Redang Island which Edmond uploaded. I don't remember blogging about it, so here I am. Well, its never too late to update on a trip, 6 months ago, since I finally saved the photos from Facebook.

Credits to Mark and Edmond for the pictures. Although the SLR(s) were heavy, they brought it everywhere, together with the waterproof casing.

Waiting for departure at the airport.

Oh, and this trip, I actually went with my Dad and his friends who came down from Hong Kong. Those three days were amazing, although I just got to know them. They all took care of me, called me "mui mui", and really took care of me. Wait, did I say that already?

Group photo!

Anyway, they are all so nice. They took me diving in the rain, when my Dad wanted to stay in. Gahaha, well, his ankle was swollen. They all have license to dive, except me, so it was fine, really. It was an epic experience. Its something I did not regret doing, and would definitely get a license when I start earning my own money. My mum does not let me get a diving license because well, she is scared of water, and said that its really dangerous. Whereas my dad, he had a diving license, and used to dive around Malaysia. So my dad is fine with me getting one, and my mum is not.

During the briefing. I was paying a lot of attention to everything he said, because it was my first time, and I was really nervous.

The diving suit have to be tight fit.

Before an adventure in the sea.

They brought waterproof cards, and played them in the sea!

After finding Nemo. Yes, it was raining.

Hi.

After snorkeling, at an island. IT RAINED, AGAIN
.
OH, and the purpose of this trip - Franky wanted to propose to his girlfriend, on an island. We all kept it a secret until the second night, he proposed in front of us. She agreed, and they promised to treat all of us dinner, when we are back in KL. It was really, romantic.

On the third day, the day we had to leave Redang, it did not rain. The sun was shining so brightly. We all complained about how when we were there, the sun was hiding. So the adults planned to go to Sunway Lagoon, because it was a beautiful day in KL. I was so excited when they said they wanted to go there, because I just love that place.

Because I said I have not eaten cotton candy in ages, they bought one, and shared with me.

Franky bought us dinner at The Ship, in Bukit Bintang. It was a very satisfying dinner.

And so, that was the last time I saw them. We all said our goodbye, and exchanged e-mail addresses. Well, to look for one another on Facebook of course.

Redang Island is a perfect place for a getaway - its a paradise.
