That was what I wanted - send my kids to an international school. But after the case of a 12 year-old boy being kidnapped, I don't think I want to do so, anymore.
And so, now I realise that although you can afford your kids to some private or international school, this doesn't mean that you can guarantee your kid's safety.
Whoever kidnapped that innocent boy (who has the potential to be 'Most Handsome Guy In The World'), must be out of his mind.
Sigh, the people around us today, is almost as cruel as the villains from Captain America. Yes, from Marvel to the world we live in today.
So this post is pretty boring and pointless eh? But I've made up my mind...to migrate to a country (a safe one, if there is one). I will want to keep my kids (and of course, the future husband), safe. That, is the least I can do (other than hiring 1386389652 number of bodyguards and ruin my kids' privacy and freedom).

Will we stand for the vision of love?
Wake up if you believe
Love is not a fading dream
Tell me I'm not the only one
Who feels this way right now
Lonely needs a friend
Ask him where he's been
You could be the Light that comes
And turns his world around
I don't wanna run, I don't wanna hide
When someone needs somebody
I don't wanna say, I don't got the time
When someone needs somebody
With a little faith and a little soul
We can't go wrong
We can't go wrong
When a heart breaks
And the world shakes
Will we stand for the vision of love?
When a tear falls
And the fear crawls
Will we stand for the vision of love?
Will we stand for the vision of love?
Make-up hides her face
Cos she feels out of place
She cries
Come on someone tell this girl she's beautiful
We don't gotta run, we don't gotta hide
When a heart breaks
And the world shakes
Will we stand for the vision of love?
Will we stand for the vision of love?

Forever and always.

Through the good and the bad and the ugly. Whether rich or for poor or for better.
She's sitting at the table, the hours get later
He was supposed to be here
She's sure he would have called
She waits a little longer, there's no one in the driveway
No one's said they've seen him
Why, is something wrong?
She looks back to the window
Suddenly the phone rings
A voice says something's happened
That she should come right now
Her mind goes to December
She thinks of when he asked her
He bent down on his knees first
And he said
I want you forever, forever and always
Through the good and the bad and the ugly
We'll grow old together
Forever and always.
She pulls up to the entrance
She walks right to the front desk
They lead her down a million halls, a maze that's never ending
They talk about what happened but she can barely hear them
She tries to keep a straight face as she walks into the room
She sits by his bedside, holds his hand too tight
They talk about the kids they're gonna have and the good life
The house on the hillside, where they would stay
Stay there forever, forever and always
Through the good and the bad and the ugly
We'll grow old together, and always remember
Whether rich or for poor or for better
We'll still love each other, forever and always.
Then she gets an idea and calls in the nurses
Brings up the chaplain and he says a couple verses
She borrows some rings from the couple next door
Everybody's laughing as the tears fall on the floor
She looks into his eyes, and she says
I want you forever, forever and always
Through the good and the bad and the ugly
We'll grow old together, and always remember
Whether happy or sad or whatever
We'll still love each other, forever and always
Forever and always, forever and always.
She finishes the vows but the beeps are getting too slow
His voice is almost too low
As he says, I love you forever, forever and always
Please just remember even if I'm not there
I'll always love you, forever and always.

It started with a whisper.
Had a crazy weekend, last week with some friends. It was a last minute plan, which we made only at 10 plus in the morning. Xiao Ran and I took the train from Tun Razak to Masjid Jamek, and then to the LRT Putra line to KLCC. Met up with Yvonne, then took the bus to Jalan Ampang. From there, Xiao and I walked to Doubletree by Hilton. Sounds pretty far, but nah, it was only a 5 minutes walk. Waited for Gwen's arrival in the room, then went to Pavilion with a cab.
I don't know whats wrong with the taxi drivers nowadays, but they all seem to be very talkative. The taxi driver was so talkative, he spoke in English, Hokkien, and then Mandarin. Best part was he thought we're from Taiwan, and charged us RM 10 from Jalan Ampang to Pavilion. Well, it was raining, and we wanted to get there ASAP.....
The three of us then walked to Times Square to meet up with Abdullah. Wanted to redeem the Titanic 3D tickets, but the queue was so long, we decided to leave. DISAPPOINTMENT #1: DESPERATE FOR TITANIC, BUT NO, ONLY TWO SHOWS A DAY, OR THE QUEUE WAS TOO LONG..
Then to Krispy Kreme, dinner at Pappa John's, then headed to Charlie Brown's Cafe at KLCC. DISAPPOINTMENT #2: DESPERATE FOR COFFEE AT CHARLIE BROWN'S CAFE, BUT NO, IT WAS CLOSED.
We were tired, and desperate for a drink, so Dome it is. Then we left for Ben's because we didn't like the drinks that were in the menu. The waiter at Ben's helped us take a picture with Xiao's polaroid. DISAPPOINTMENT #3: I WAS CROPPED FROM ZE PICTURE. YAY. WAITER, Y U NO LIKE ME IN THE PICTURE?
We sat by the 'lake' for quite some time, then walked to Pelita for our second supper. Epicfashizzlemanizzlewhatevernizzle. And from there, we walked back to the hotel room.
