Para-paradise

I was looking at the photos from Redang Island which Edmond uploaded. I don't remember blogging about it, so here I am. Well, its never too late to update on a trip, 6 months ago, since I finally saved the photos from Facebook.

Credits to Mark and Edmond for the pictures. Although the SLR(s) were heavy, they brought it everywhere, together with the waterproof casing.

Waiting for departure at the airport.

Oh, and this trip, I actually went with my Dad and his friends who came down from Hong Kong. Those three days were amazing, although I just got to know them. They all took care of me, called me "mui mui", and really took care of me. Wait, did I say that already?

Group photo!

Anyway, they are all so nice. They took me diving in the rain, when my Dad wanted to stay in. Gahaha, well, his ankle was swollen. They all have license to dive, except me, so it was fine, really. It was an epic experience. Its something I did not regret doing, and would definitely get a license when I start earning my own money. My mum does not let me get a diving license because well, she is scared of water, and said that its really dangerous. Whereas my dad, he had a diving license, and used to dive around Malaysia. So my dad is fine with me getting one, and my mum is not.

During the briefing. I was paying a lot of attention to everything he said, because it was my first time, and I was really nervous.

The diving suit have to be tight fit.

Before an adventure in the sea.

They brought waterproof cards, and played them in the sea!

After finding Nemo. Yes, it was raining.

Hi.

After snorkeling, at an island. IT RAINED, AGAIN
.
OH, and the purpose of this trip - Franky wanted to propose to his girlfriend, on an island. We all kept it a secret until the second night, he proposed in front of us. She agreed, and they promised to treat all of us dinner, when we are back in KL. It was really, romantic.

On the third day, the day we had to leave Redang, it did not rain. The sun was shining so brightly. We all complained about how when we were there, the sun was hiding. So the adults planned to go to Sunway Lagoon, because it was a beautiful day in KL. I was so excited when they said they wanted to go there, because I just love that place.

Because I said I have not eaten cotton candy in ages, they bought one, and shared with me.

Franky bought us dinner at The Ship, in Bukit Bintang. It was a very satisfying dinner.

And so, that was the last time I saw them. We all said our goodbye, and exchanged e-mail addresses. Well, to look for one another on Facebook of course.

Redang Island is a perfect place for a getaway - its a paradise.
